Daily Devotion. (How to pray.)

Matthew 6: 9
“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name…”

One day, Jesus was teaching His disciples how to pray. Who better to teach how to pray than the Son of God, after all He knows exactly what the Father likes. Jesus told His disciples to start off their prayer to God by saying, “Our Father.” That is a revelation for all Christians, God is not just someone that is in heaven, He is our Dad. If God is our dad, when you pray, just talk to Him like He is your dad. I know everyone does not have a great relationship with their earthly father, but the Heavenly Father is not only a great listener but a great communicator as well, considering He prompted the entire Bible.  The next good clue that Jesus gives us in praying to God is, His name is Holy and He needs to be revered and honored every time we approach the throne in prayer.
